Do you have any suggestions for books for young readers?

For Christmas, I give the nod to all the kids I know. I like to read books before giving them, in part because I know they are good, and partly because I like to talk to them about books. I have given books like Ender's Game, Eragon, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Hoot, Harry Potter – the obvious. I prefer paperback. Need suggestions for books for a couple of 11 -14 years of age males, one is in the Second World War and outdoor things, and one who likes science fiction. In addition, any better "read" for new readers and non-readers (I have a couple of toddlers and babies on the list)?

how hard is Final Fantasy?

how hard is FF any version 1 = preschool reader rabbit. 10 = BULL Gaiden (NES) / toads battle … this is for a debate with my brother haha

I love FF and have been playing through all versions up to IX. All are more or less the same. You play a long time to build their level, then go attack the monsters and bosses. For some people that are too hard and start playing something else or sell the game. For others who are so easy anyone finish in just a few hours or bitch and complain on every forum about how he hated the game. My rating for most of them is 7 = fun to play and killed a lot until you decrypt them. Others use cheat codes on GameFAQs and go straight to the end. That is his way of going through of a game. But I like to play the whole game and then the second time by the will to get a tutorial and see what I missed.
