What is good, but low-cost or free video editing software for videos side by side? Like if I shot something with two different cameras from different angles and I together side by side in the same file, like the famous John Williams music video tribute. I have Windows Vista. It came with Windows Movie Maker, but I could not find a way to do it there.

Is the best Movie Maker software free movie making, I believe, if you have a window system you always have movie maker. What is the difference between attending office hours and go to a tutor?

Apart from the fact that one is free, and the other is not. Ie Why do many students choose to receive tutoring, when office hours are available? Yes, I realize that some teachers only aspire to explain / education as a tutor can be better, or a student can not find the time to get to office hours for work or whatever, But even taking into account these situations, I believe that most students do not take advantage of office hours. Why?

Learning a new concept is like the blind trying to visualize an elephant – you have to have many different views to form a complete picture. I tell my students that if all they wanted hear was that I repeat what I told you in class – you are welcome to come and see me. Going to a tutor will give them a second perspective – but even that can be woefully inadequate. For a "full color four-dimensional" view of a concept that I have found that study groups are absolutely the best. The problem in my local university is that my students rarely see each other outside of class – and that is a terrible loss for them. Assuming that you are a teacher, and wonder why more students not come to see you, my answer is that it must be more humble and recognize that the door opens, you can not provide the best view for each student. His way of seeing things can not be best for everyone. Unlike a jealous boyfriend who wants to be all things that are good to the object of his love – to be happy when a student of his going to a different source to enhance viewing that you are trying to achieve.

I have been successfully installed on 2 computers FCPro. But I know you can not network together and run more than FCPro Mac with the same serial number on the same network. But I had no problem downloading the updates to each of them on a regular time, I have no idea if that applies to Express or not ..

The best thing you can do is either check to see if you have the driver disk for your laptop (looking at your model number, you have the drivers on the disk) or Internet use to go to Toshiba site and download the BEFORE driver format and install WINXP. What programs could someone use to open an Open Office document?

I run a baseball Rotisserie league. Not only have our general classification (which Yahoo updates daily), but we continuously monitored separately for each month, and that it is something I have done personally. I spreadsheet use Open Office to design and calculate the positions of Month to date, then send it to the other owners as an email attachment. One owners say you can not open the document. If you have Open Office, what other program could use to open that spreadsheet? Or, do you need to download Open Office Suite?

Open Office can save files in various formats. It has a worksheet "format that is unique to Open Office. But can also save files to "xls" format used by MS Excel. You have to know what program the other person has, and then save it a format that conforms to the software you have. Another alternative is to save the file in PDF format. (Something Open Office can do.) So, anyone with free Adobe Reader can open the file without having to Open Office, Excel or other spreadsheet program on your computer. Reversing the PDF is that the person would not be able to modify the document. He can read and print, but no change in any way.
