Traffic Blogs Archives

Some point of interest for all webmasters is and can always be traffic. Visitors are the life-line associated with a web site. It’s really a blog, forum, social media site, business site, landing page, or simply a web page selling one product. In any case, visitors are and will continually be answer to the success of your website. Your site can lay claim that they can probably the most fascinating and informative content available on the web. However, if it does not have traffic, it might as well not exist.

So how does a webmaster go about obtaining the most significant facet of an online existence? How does a webmaster draw or drive traffic to an internet site? There are several ways. This short article discusses a number of potential sources of traffic which you can use as a way they are driving traffic to your site.

1) The first supply of traffic is original content regularly posted to a website. Search engines like google love original content. Even if the content does not relay anything more than simple or common knowledge, unique and original content always has potential within the eyes of search engines. The value of completely unique content is found in the potential that it has to relay information in a manner that is not expressed before this provides you with rise to ones understanding of a topic from a new and refreshing perspective. Search engines like google always prefer to serve new and unique content to their customers hoping that they may strike gold so-to-speak. After gathering some data on a particular article, for example, a consideration by the search engine algorithm will rank or put the fresh content where it deems appropriate in the search engine rankings.

2) Another supply of traffic for any website is through article marketing. Whether a person realizes it or otherwise, a writer exists in all people. Everyone has their own unique perspective and they can publish that perspective inside a many article directories. Several article directory sites are very well known for their large databases of articles written by a large variety of persons from a large variety of backgrounds for example tradesmen, professionals such as scientists, doctors and lawyers and even stay-at-home moms. Additionally there are college students as well as writers still very young. All these groups has their respective interests and perspectives that others using their peer groups will discover intriquing, notable and informative. So how exactly does one become a highly effective writer? Simple. Read all you can and pay attention to the writing styles and then emulate your preferred styles. Traffic to a website is driven through the links in the authors resource box.

3) Another potential source of traffic for the website is social media and social bookmarking. We have all hear of Twitter, Facebook along with other social media sites like these. Social media sited literally obtain the lion’s share of traffic and visitors. Most of us have a Facebook account as a way to keep tabs on old friends and acquaintances. Additionally, these days it is not uncommon to determine businesses posting ads and special offers for their social networking accounts. Some businesses use a social media service as a means to communicate using their customers or employees. One interesting aspect of social media sites is always that they have built-in search engines that permit these phones serve queries based on keywords. This gives them a chance to bring people with similar interests together. Many will them post links for their website on their social networking site as a way to capture traffic. Social bookmarking sites essentially do the same thing. A link for your article is posted having a small excerpt.

Now, let me tell you about Traffic Kaboom

Traffic Kaboom is really a hidden traffic source that does not rely exclusively on Google or other internet search engine. The concept behind Traffic Kaboom is simple. We offer a syndication service. Clicking a few buttons, fill in some good info… and then Jason Potash & Jason Katzenback “drip-feed” and distribute your article & video content to many thousand good quality (human reviewed) sites our syndication partners have owned since 2006 (that’s right… 2006). Traffic Kaboom will get you plenty of targeted-backlinks — hundreds (potentially thousands) of backlinks per month from top quality sites in your niche or market. But more essential, you’re able to PIGGYBACK off these a large number of sites plus they give back traffic. The thing is, simple getting backlinks won’t cause you to any money… The real key is which kind of traffic and purchasers those backlinks can generate for you personally. That’s where Traffic Kaboom really delivers!

Handgun Nets Illegal Immigrant Nearly Five Years in Prison. In this case, it’s Christian Rene Bueno-Figueroa, 24, of Sinaloa, Mexico, who was found holding a .38 Super handgun last year during the raid of a drug house. When cops entered the home, looking for someone else, they found more guns, scales, a ledger, meth, and 75 grams of cocaine in a car. Another man was busted for "possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime," and later sentenced to 60 months, says the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Phoenix. But Bueno-Figueroa was arrested for possessing a firearm, period. He was sentenced this week to 57 months.http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/valleyfever/2009/04/handgun_nets_illegal_immigrant.php

That’s a lot of time for doing something that comes naturally to most state residents.

But as one advocate points outs Immigrants Bring Crime Is a Myth what do U think ?One advovate claims all arrestes by Joe Officials say 28 people were arrested in a sweep of Maricopa County jails in the southwest Valley Friday.

According to MCSO spokesman Doug Matteson, 300 vehicles were searched and four of those arrested were said to be undocumented immigrants.

Matteson said six arrest warrants were cleared, and drugs seized included meth, marijuana and heroine.

He also said a weapon was seized during the searches.

Inside the jail deputies searched above florescent lights and below slabs of concrete.

After asking inmates to strip down to just pink slippers and boxer shorts deputies peeked, pried and sorted through everything.

They were looking for things that could be dangerous and in just the first hour deputies found a razor blade, rusty nails and locks.

There is a long list of things to criticize Obama for. But this just strikes me as stupid.

How long does the war on drugs have to fail and how much money does the federal govt. have to waste before Republican lawmakers stop acting like morons with regards to this issue? (Also, isn’t it ironic that the party pushing "states rights" and an overly powerful federal govt. has no problem with a war on drugs policy that contradicts both those positions?)

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/120035-top-republican-obama-administration-encouraging-use-of-marijuana?page=2#comments

Rep. Lamar Smith (Texas), the top Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee who would likely become chairman of the committee under a GOP majority, accused the administration of being too lax in its enforcement of drug laws.

"The administration is clearly sending the message that they don’t think it’s bad to use marijuana," Smith said on Fox News. "So they’re encouraging the use of marijuana. And that simply is not a good thing to do."

Smith blamed the administration’s decision to not enforce federal laws against marijuana dispensaries in states that have legalized the drug for medicinal purposes. Smith blamed the administration’s approach on drug laws for recent statistics showing an increased use of marijuana.

"We ought to be enforcing our drug laws, not backing away from them," said Smith, who also lamented a recent revision of criminal sentencing guidelines that reduced sentencing guidelines for crack-cocaine traffickers. Proponents of the law in both parties had pushed that reform because sentencing for crack-related drug crimes were much more severe than for similar amounts of cocaine, a disparity which fueled a racial divide in drug sentencing.

The U.S. federal war on drugs is failing in every respect (specifically: it has met ZERO of its goals after 40 years and trillion dollars spent):

http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/05/13/40-year-war-on-drugs-hasnt-worked-policy-chief-says/

And JUST LIKE prohibition of alcohol (Capone etc) making soft drugs (alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana etc.) illegal makes them extremely profitable and cartels/organized crime VERY wealthy in the process:

Marijuana: Mexico is the number one foreign supplier of marijuana abused in the United States. In fact, according to a 2008 inter-agency report, marijuana is the top revenue generator for Mexican DTOs—a cash crop that finances corruption and the carnage of violence year after year. The profits derived from marijuana trafficking—an industry with minimal overhead costs, controlled entirely by the traffickers—are used not only to finance other drug enterprises by Mexico’s poly-drug cartels, but also to pay recurring “business” expenses, purchase weapons, and bribe corrupt officials. Though the GOM has a robust eradication program, many of the military personnel traditionally assigned to eradicate marijuana and opium poppy have recently been diverted to the offensive against
Sloan…………."We need to strengthin our law enforcement to help fight drugs and illegal trafficing of drugs. end of story."

We’ve been doing that for FORTY YEARS. The problem only gets worse. The cartels grow and drug use does not go down. Explain that……
dennis c……….."The last thing that we need is more Marijuana users."

So it’s worth it to enrich cartels in the name of legislating what you deem acceptable behavior?
john……………"Are you stoned now? I thought so."

Actually no. Haven’t done that in a long time. But this is insane. The drug laws accomplish 2 things: They heavily inflate the price of drugs (thus cartels make LOTS of money), they keep the prison industry growing (U.S. has more people incarcerated than any country in the world).
Drunk Teddy’s…………."so what does this have to do with Republicans"

A Republican made this statement. A Republican started the war on drugs (nixon). A Republican started "just say no" (reagan). A republican was heavily involved with Iran/Contra (cocaine….)

Alright, first off I want to say that when you read this, you might think it sounds completely rediculous, but ust try to think logically about what i am saying.

My idea is to get companies to allow me to direct traffic to their site through sites that I own and social networking. It is sort of like google ad sense, but I would be making it much more than an add, and I would be posting their advertisements, links, and promotions on all of my pages including facebook myspace twitter blogs domains.

Does this sound like a good idea to make a few extra bucks on the side?

Hello!

I’m the owner of a few quite ordinary blogs like
http://potpiepic.tumblr.com/ and
http://loungespot.tumblr.com/. It was my first blogging
experience, but recently I’ve found 2 more partners to start
something completely different. So at the moment we’ve almost done developing a respectable web site targeted at mature audience.
We were thinking about the ways to get more traffic to our website, and I’ve recently heard about traffic exchange web 2.0 systems, which seem to be a great tool for doing this.
Could anyone please explain how do they work, and what is the difference between them?

Our requirements are:
- NO adult content
- fair exchange rate
- good reputation.

What kind of traffic exchange service should be used to cover all our needs?

Thanks!

Here are a number of ‘off page’ ways to help build up your site’s link popularity.

* Visit Websites and Blogs within Your Niche.
Visit other websites and blogs within your niche and leave relevant, useful comments. Many sites will allow you to leave a URL to your own site when leaving such comments. Don’t leave token comments just to get the backlink but rather leave helpful comments or praise that will help build your reputation in your niche. Some website will have a page of links to recommended sites. If so, request that a link to your site be included and be willing to do likewise in exchange.
* Social Bookmarking Sites (Digg, StumbleUpon, etc.).
You should join several of these sites and create entries in them for your website. Each of these entries will include a backlink to your site. Entries on Digg are often indexed within hours because of its highly dynamic content. However, entries on other sites may take a good deal longer.
* Social Networking Sites (Facebook, Myspace, etc.).
Consider joining Facebook , MySpace and other social networking sites. Create a page for yourself there and be liberal in describing yourself and what you do. These sites exist for this very reason, after all. Find and follow (or become friends) with others in your niche or that share common interest. Be sure to create backlinks to your website. Active participation in various groups and discussions is a great way to raise your profile and authority. Seek to be genuine and helpful. You goal on these networks is not just to build backlinks but to build a reputation as an authority in your area. As you develop a following you will also build traffic to your website.
* Forum marketing.
No doubt, there are a number of online communities dedicated to your subject of interest. Join several of them and begin participating in the forums. Most forums allow users a signature box in which you may place the URL of your web site. With each forum posting a backlink to your site will be created. Be aware that some sites flag forum comments as ‘nofollow’ that instruct search engines not to follow that link. This impacts your page rank negativley. Also, some forums will not allow obviously commercial backlinks and may ban the user from the forum. Be sensitive and know the rules of the forum. Consistent, genuine, helpful participation is the best way to develop a following in a forum

The Airing of Grievances

Bonus:
Albert Camus (live)

So, what do you think of the songs?
Love? Hate? Indifference?
Somewhere in between?

Posted on Stereogum, Allmusic, and a variety of other indie music blogs… it seems the offer may only be good today, but the album The Airing of Grievances by Titus Andronicus (an interesting debut from last year which has been remastered for release by the label XL) is available as a free download — both as MP3 and lossless FLAC for those who care over at this address:

http://www.beggarsgroupusa.com/releases/the-airing-of-grievances/

There have been some issues with the site crashing due to increased traffic — just be patient. It’s not really breaking any new ground, but it’s a fun record that makes them possibly a band to watch in the future. Also — free is free.

Songs 155 and 156 in a series.

just won an appeal on this thing….. but its probably too far down the list for anyone to notice anymore.
