I have a new website and I have been making a few links to it here and there. My competitors have thousands of links? How is that possible?

I have a new website. I need the website submitted to as many search engines as possible, as well as thousands classified ads websites. Has any one a useful information about this?

I have a new website < 3months old. For the last 2 weeks, it’s organic search from Google has been gradually increased to 500 /day. Then all of sudden, there are virtually no results referred from Google.

I tested this by using the search phases that my site used to show up top in organic search results in Google, now my site is nowhere to be found any more. It seems like the indexing is vanished.

I checked my account in Google Webmaster. I didn’t find any warnings there and everything seems to be normal. One thing that was changed recently by me: I set the crawl rate from normal to faster.

Another thing, up until the search results got bad, Google used to index 8 URLs/second, now it does it probably 1 URL/ few minutes.

The site has standard-compliant sitemaps (1+ MM entries) and no search engines complaint them ever.

Any help/insight to resolve the issue is appreciated.
