hi guys, i’ve just updated my dads business’s website, now im creating more backlinks to raise page rank. i got information stated below off a website that assesses your site (page rank, links, etc….),

Permanent Redirect Not Found
Search engines may think www.MYSITE.co.uk and MYSITE.co.uk are two different sites. You should set up a permanent redirect (technically called a "301 redirect") between these sites. Once you do that, you will get full search engine credit for your work on these sites.

For example, www.MYSITE.co.uk seems to have 49 inbound links whereas MYSITE.co.uk has 52 inbound links. By correctly configuring a permanent 301 redirect, the search rankings might improve as all inbound links are correctly counted for the website.

is a 301 direct file the best way to cure the problem stated below…. if so could anyone explain this 2 me and how to create a 301 direct for my site?

thanks for any help

Here’s a fact for you, 85 to 95% of websites are found through a search engine. You may have the most incredible website on the Internet, but it will receive little or no traffic without search engine visibility and ranking. Can you imagine a billboard in the Sahara desert? Who sees it?
So, how will searchers find your website? What types of search engines could they use?

Search engines fall into two categories. The first is referred to as natural, organic or standard. The second is called pay-per-click, paid inclusion or paid placement.
Natural, organic and standard are interchangeable terms describing a search engine that bases its search rankings on a ranking algorithm. The algorithms involve a number of criteria and parameters, all relating to the content of the website, the website’s size, the number of incoming links to the website, and the content’s relevancy. You will hear terms such as keyword relevancy and keyword density to describe various components of the algorithms.

I have a google adwords advertising campaign running. I have several different adgroups, most of which contain a single keyword. Using this method, I have super-relative ads to most of the search terms. To help out my quality score, I want to go back and tailor individiual landing pages for each keyword. By doing this, a large amount of content would be carbon-copied to several different landing pages. Will this negatively impact my organic search rankings?
