ok im really gettn mad. i have been working on my site. for 6-7hrs a day for over a month. i have over 11,000 articles, and my site haas over 2,000 backlinks, and google has indexed over 4,000 pages, yahoo has index a liltle over 600, and other search engines like altavista has over 300 pages, msn, every search engine has my site. i still only get 40 page views a day OMFG, i seen this other site did research on them they only have 403 pages indexed by google and not even found in any other search engines and only have 102 backlinks and they get over 5,000 page views per day please help me my site is www.dramaticblogger.com is there something wrong.

There are various tools to find the backlinks to a website including yahoo site explorer and some software programs. However, is there a tool that will allow you to identify the backlinks that a site has gained in e.g. the last month?
All these answers are very poor, a total waste of time. The point of the question is not to simply identify backlinks to a site but to identify backlinks that were added RECENTLY e.g. in the last month.

I was told that if you comment on blogs then that builds backlinks to your website and improves the ranks in google, but if you answer questions on yahoo answers and leave your website url then it doesnt build backlinks and doesnt improve ranking. Why?

I registered a site .tv and .co but Yahoo search engines can not find it. But Google does a fantastic job (what I expect).

Then I hear I have to pay for Yahoo search placement for websites. And I am appalled that they want me to pay for search engine placement. I do not hate Yahoo. But I honestly prefer Google over yahoo 99%. Me asking is the 1% for asking why does yahoo suck?

And 100% of finding why Yahoo Search Sucks is always – well because they do. I dont commonly like to pay for any advertising of something which I would prefer to be free.

Hi – Im a wedding photographer in Perth and have been trying to do my own website’s SEO. It’s taking me AGES and I just cant seem to get my listing any higher on the ranks. It’s taken me ages to build up the backlinks but even then I only have 22 now! Someone said to me the other day that they cant believe Im doing it all manually, I realise there is software out there that does it for you, but I dont want to backlink to bad sites and damage my website’s rep with Google or Yahoo, but I also cant spend all these big hours on it every week. Does anyone know of any free software that helps build backlinks that are good? I am only a small business so cant afford really to hire someone to do the SEO for me (unless it was about -70 per month).

Any suggestions and help would be great! I’ve been self-teaching myself so I’ve done so much reading and Im almost spent now.

The two popular answers were TekTrack and SCLogic. However, after corresponding with the SCLogic poster and watching the votes comes in, it is obvious that this answer was ScLogic marketing only.
